Multisorb has introduced a greatly expanded line of its popular Multiform™ Tablets for use in a wide variety of applications including medical diagnostic, pharmaceutical and electronics packaging.

Multisorb's Multiform Tablets are now available in a wide range of shapes, with molecular sieve, silica gel, indicating silica gel or activated carbon desiccant media to meet specific application needs.

Multiform Tablets are the ideal desiccant solution when no other sorbent will fit. Multiform Tablets can take the shape of rings, cups, ferrules, bushings, sleeves and more to act as a mechanical component for the product or packaging being protected.

Multiform Tablets have several distinct advantages for your packaging:

Multiform Tablets Innovations from Multisorb:

Treated Multiform Tablets Treated Multiform Tablets feature an innovative surface treatment that controls dusting and adsorption rates. The Treated Multiform Tablets are ideal for automatic dispensing and other applications where the "molded desiccant" is exposed to the atmosphere during the packaging operation. The controlled adsorption rate provides a longer handling time while maintaining maximum sorbent effectiveness when placed in the package.

Mini Multiform Tablets Mini Multiform Tablets provide a superior alternative to molecular sieve beads for medical diagnostic and other packaging applications. Unlike molecular sieve beads, Skavenger Mini Multiforms are more uniform in size and shape resulting in a more consistent adsorption rate and capacity, and better operation in automated feed systems. The mini Multiforms can be surface treated to control adsorption rates and potentially reduce dusting.

Silica Gel Multiform Tablets Silica Gel Multiform Tablets provide the versatility of a Multiform Tablet with FDA acceptable silica gel for use in a wide variety of applications including medical diagnostic and pharmaceutical packaging. Silica Gel Multiform Tablets can adsorb up to 30% of their weight for efficient, long-lasting moisture control and extended product shelf life.

Indicating Silica Gel Multiform Tablets Indicating Silica Gel Multiform Tablets change from blue to pink to indicate when the sorbent has reached its capacity and should be replaced.

Blended Multiform Tablets Blended Multiform Tablets for pharmaceutical, medical diagnostic and electronics packaging combine silica gel and activated carbon in a variety of shapes.

Molecular Sieve Multiform Tablets Molecular Sieve Multiform Tablets provide superior moisture control at low relative humidities. Ideal for medical diagnostics and electronic product packaging.
