StripPax® are compact, extremely durable, non-dusting sorbent packets uniquely designed in strip form for fast, automated loading by dispensing equipment. StripPax packets take up little space in packaging yet have high moisture adsorbing capacity. The packets are offered in a variety of sorbent blends and sizes to meet specific packaging needs.
StripPax packets can be accurately dispensed into your application with the automatic sorbent dispenser system from Active-Pak Automation LLC. Click here for details on Active-Pak dispensing equipment.

StripPax offers several distinct advantages for your packaging:
- Speeds sorbent loading
- Space savings
- Virtually indestructible
- Available in fan folds or rolls
- Patented window seal between each packet for accurate cutting
Typical applications include:
- Pharmaceuticals
- Medical diagnostic kits
- Electronic equipment
- Optical instruments
- Food packaging
Fast, automatic sorbent dispensing from a strip for maximum savings in labor
StripPax is designed to give you a superior, cost-effective sorbent packet, while helping to speed up your packaging line and reduce labor costs. Used with Active-Pak High-Speed Dispensing Systems, you can accurately and consistently dispense up to 300 sorbent packets per minute as part of your packaging line.
- No mis-cutting - A thru-beam photoelectric eye detects Multisorb's patented window seal between each packet on the strip so machine won't inadvertently cut packets. The packets can be cut individually or in groups of two or more.
- No product contamination - Precise cutting eliminates spills of desiccant materials, PLUS packets are made of uncoated Tyvek®, allowing them to be used safely for food, pharmaceuticals and other applications.

A choice of sorbent blends
StripPax can be produced in a wide selection of sorbents and sorbent blends to meet your specific needs. Blends of odor and moisture adsorbent compounds may be furnished when both odor and moisture protection are desired.

|
Silica Gel
|
- Typically used in food and pharmaceutical applications
- High crush strength and high porosity
- Remains dry and free flowing even when saturated
- Has relatively high capacity for moisture at temperatures below 25°C (77°F) with relative humidity above 40%
- Chemically inert, non-corrosive and non-toxic

Molecular
Sieve
|
- Uniform adsorptive pore size makes it an excellent sorbent for water
- Greater capacity for water adsorption than either clay or silica gel where temperature exceeds 25°C (77°F) and/or critical relative humidity is below 40%
- Added capacity to adsorb organic odor-causing molecules
|
|
|
Clay
(Montmorillonite)
|
- Produced by the controlled drying of montmorillonite, a naturally occurring mineral
- Essentially non-swelling
- Can both take on and give up moisture without deterioration
|
|
|
Activated Carbon
|
- Foremost sorbent for organic molecules and sulfur-bearing compounds
- Primary application is odor removal
|
|
|
Moisture/Odor
Blends
|
- Mixtures of clay or silica gel with activated carbon in a 50/50 or 60/40 ratio
- Provides both desiccating and odor gathering properties in a single packet
